  1. Hi – My name is Brian French. I am building a new home in Ottawa Ontario. I would like to use a Passive Foundation design, but I am concerned about seismic events and XPS, EPS foams. Foam Glass is an option, but I would like to know if there is any research available on its use under foundations in low / mid range seismic regions. Perhaps you know if such research exists.
